Detailed Itinerary

  • Day 01
    Kathmandu
    Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport and transfer to the hotel. Briefing on the tour itinerary. Overnight stay at Kathmandu.
  • Day 02
    Kathmandu ( 1,350m/4,429ft )
    Morning sightseeing of Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swayambhunath and afternoon Patan Durbar Square. Overnight stay at Kathmandu.

    Kathmandu Durbar Square, UNESCO World Heritage Site showcases some of the most impressive architecture in Central Asia, where it is believed to have more temples than people.

    Swayambhunath Stupa, with the eyes of Buddha painted on all four sides is one of the seven UNESCO World Heritage Site. This is the best place to observe the religious harmony of Hinduism and Buddhism.

    Patan, a UNESCO World Heritage Site is known as the “City of Beauty.” It is noted for its craftsmen and metal workers.
  • Day 03
    Kathmandu – Lukla ( 2,800m/9,186ft ) – Phakding ( 2,652m/8,700ft )
    Scenic flight to Lukla (Approx. 30min). Upon reaching exploring around the beautiful place. Then start trek to Phakding (Approx.3hrs) which is quite smooth. Overnight stay at Phakding.

    Lukla is a small village propped at an altitude of 2,800 meter and has regular flight from Kathmandu which is also an important stop for travelers who are trekking to Mt. Everest Base Camp.
  • Day 04
    Phakding – Namche Bazaar ( 3,340m/11,286ft )
    After breakfast, we start the trek to Namche Bazaar (Approx. 5-6hrs), by walking along the banks of Dudh Koshi River and walk through Sagarmatha National Park. Overnight stay at Namche Bazaar.

    Namche Bazaar is a small town closely associated with Mt. Everest. It is the gateway to the Everest Region. Situated on the lap of the Mahalangur Range, it affords a ringside view of many world famous Himalayan peaks.
  • Day 05
    Namche Bazaar Acclimatization Day ( 3,340m/11,286ft )
    Morning excursion to Syangboche (3,841m/12,602ft) and back to Namche Bazaar (Approx.3hr). Then we rest and explore around Namche Bazaar and observe the lifestyle of the locals. Overnight stay at Namche Bazaar.
  • Day 06
    Namche Bazaar – Tyangboche ( 3,867m/12,687ft ) – Max Elevation
    Trek to Tyangboche (Approx.4-5hr). Tyangboche is a Buddhist Village where Buddhist Stupas, Monasteries, and settlements of Sherpa can be seen. Tyangboche Monasteries is the biggest Monasteries in the Khumbu Region. Overnight stay in Tyangboche.
  • Day 07
    Tyangboche – Khumjung ( 3,750m/12,303ft )
    Morning trek to Khumjung (Approx.4-5hr). Trek downwards and then after crossing the river starts upward journey. This is the biggest area where Sir Edmund Hillary has built schools and hospital. This is a Sherpa village where you can experience the traditional and cultural way of the local people. Overnight at Khumjung.
  • Day 08
    Tengboche – Khumjung ( 3780m/12402ft )
    Today, we will have nice and pleasant walking to Thame village which is another Approx. 4-5 hr walking in left corner just above the river stream which used to be a famous old salt trade route to Tibet. Thame has great view of valleys and Himalayas, and visit to its monastery is great experience. As it is more remote compare to regular areas of Everest such as Lukla or Namche, the village has most rural areas, and great lifetime style of the Sherpa peoples. Overnight at Thame.
  • Day 09
    Thame – Monjo ( 2,850m/9,350ft )
    With wonderful morning enjoyment over to the Himalayas, easy breakfast then prepares to hike back to Namche and descend down to Monjo (Approx. 5-6hr). After Namche, trek to Monjo is the same way that you have trekked but it is reverse and walking down so mostly easy but equally picturesque. Overnight at Monjo.
  • Day 10
    Monjo – Lukla ( 2,800m/9,186ft )
    Trek back to Lukla (Approx.4-5hr). Easy walking but great landscape areas and day is mostly hot as we are already in lower valley now. Final walking to Lukla is slightly gradual uphill. Once checked in to Lukla Lodge, you will have lunch and will be free for the day. Overnight at Lukla.
  • Day 11
    Lukla – Kathmandu ( 1,350m/4,429ft )
    After an early morning flight to Kathmandu (Approx.25min) and check in to the hotel. Relax and enjoy the day with the pleasant memories of the trek. Overnight at Kathmandu.
  • Day 12
    Kathmandu ( 1,350m/4,429ft )
    Morning sightseeing of Pashupatinath, Boudhanath and later in afternoon visit Bhaktapur Durbar Square. Overnight at Kathmandu.

    Pashupatinath, located on the banks of the Bagmati River, is believed to mark the site where Shiva worshipped in the form of Lingam (only Hindus are permitted entrance).

    Boudhanath is among the largest Stupas in the South Asia and focal point of Tibetan Buddhism. This ancient trade route to Tibet has been offered prayers by the Tibetan merchants for centuries.

    Bhadgaon (Bhaktapur) is a Newari city founded in the 9th-century and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, known as the “City of Devotees”. There you can see the royal residential quarter of King Bhupatindra Malla and the famous Nyatapola Temple.
  • Day 13
    Kathmandu ( 1,350m/4,429ft )
    Morning Sightseeing of Dakshinkali, Kirtipur and Chovar. Afternoon free for own activities. Evening dinner with Nepalese Cultural Show. Overnight at Kathmandu.

    Dakshinkali is one of the very important places of pilgrimage in relation to Hindu goddess, which dates back to time immemorial. Pilgrims visit this temple to offer their prayers and perform animal sacrifices which is the main way of worshipping the goddess, especially during the Dashain festival.

    Kirtipur is an ancient Newari town with its brick-paved streets lined with typical red brick houses, tiled roofs, and temple squares.
