It is one of the unspoiled Newari villages with its beautiful art and architecture. It also provides a panoramic view of Kathmandu as well as of the mountains and has open farm lands of Kathmandu. You will have a good insight and interesting time meeting the villagers. Most of the farmers in this village are either involved in spinning or oil pressing business. Another interesting village Bungmati is 15 minutes walk, from Khokana.
