The Changunarayan to Nagarkot day Hike is an uphill walk. In the morning drive from Kathmandu to Changunarayan which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This temple is decorated with beautiful sculptures and woodcarvings. It is believed to be the oldest temple in the Kathmandu valley. The vantage point of the temple provides scenic landscape of the surrounding valley all around. After exploring the ancient holy temple, the actual hike starts. They will experience the rural life within a short span of time. Walk on the road and footpath used by local people to go to Nagarkot. The trail gradually winds up passing through a Jungle and village.
