This is a soft hike from Balthali to Khopasi and Panauti. The sprawling terraced rice fields, typical Newari villages, view of snowcapped mountains in a clear day, Buddhist temples, and green forests are few of the attractions during the walk. Further drive from Khopasi to Panauti. Panauti is a historical town located 35 km Southeast of Kathmndu. It is one of the oldest Newari towns in Nepal, consisting of many temples that are still present till this day dating back to the 15 th Century or earlier. The Indreswor temple is one of the largest and tallest pagoda style temples. Then later drive back to Kathmandu and overnight.
