The trek in the foothill of Annapurna provides opportunity to explore the villages and experience simple lifestyle. The trail is still used by local people and traders. Australian Camp is a beautiful village where on a clear day you can see an unobstructed view of the Annapurna range, Machhapuchhre, Manaslu along with the beautiful green hills. Morning drive to Kande (approx. 45 min) and start hike to Australian Camp (approx. 01 and half hrs.). Enjoy the magnificent view of the mountains while exploring the village. Then slowly trek (approx 45 mins) along the hills to reach Dhampus village. Dhampus is a small Gurung village in Pokhara. From Dhampus it takes another 1 and half hours walking down to Phedi. Then drive back to Pokhara and overnight.
